"Campak" Dance
It is said this dance originate from Lingga island of the Riau Island, which brought into Belitung in 18th century through Seliu island by a woman whose name Nek Campak. And then, it become enjoyable society dance. The dance is performed in couples between a man and a woman, while the man addresses his quatrain by singing it to the woman, and she recites with quatrain to the woman dancer, will give some money to the woman. The dance accompanied by music instruments such as: gong, drum and violin.
